Women’s Football Tournament : MGY Region CM attended to watch the final match

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended and observed the final match and awards ceremony for the 2025 Township Administrator’s Cup (Sagu Net Cup) Under-25 Women's Invitational Football Tournament. The event, jointly organized by Sagu Town Sports Committee and Sagu Net to nurture disciplined and spirited future youth and sports talents, was held at the Sagu Town Sports Ground on December 7 at 3 PM.

In the football tournament's final match, Team Sagu No. 3 and Sagu Basic Education High School competed. Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, along with Region Government ministers, responsible officials from region, district, and township level departments, local residents of Sagu Town, and enthusiastic football fans, collectively and peacefully attended to watch and cheer, creating a joyful atmosphere.

In the 2025 Township Administrator’s Cup (Sagu Net Cup) Under-25 Women's Invitational Football Tournament, jointly organized by Sagu Town Sports Committee and Sagu Net, five teams participated. The group stage matches were held from November 26 to December 5, 2025. In the fiercely contested final match on December 7, Team Sagu No. 3 defeated Sagu Basic Education High School Team with a score of 4-0 to claim the championship, it’s reported.
