Germany gets 'into the Christmas spirit' with Santa Claus race

Dressing up as Santa Claus is the only requirement for participating in the Saint Nicholas race, which has been held on the second Sunday of Advent for the past 17 years in the German town of Michendorf, near Berlin. Almost a thousand people of all ages participate, before toasting each other at the end with mulled wine.
