Bilateral Cooperation: Acting President meets with Thai delegation

Acting President and State Security and Peace Commission Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Mr. Mr.Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Foreign Minister of Thailand, at Bagyintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters partaining to promoting cooperation between the two nations, cooperation between the two armies to maintain the stability in border area and resume border trade, and control the illegal border trade. The discussion also focused on the status of demolishing the buildings in KK Park and Shwe Kokko area where online scam and gambling are operating, tackling arms smuggling as a State level cooperation, Myanmar's collaboration in ASEAN, preparation for free and fair multiparty democratic general election in Myanmar and plan for Thai election in 2026 as well as further strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
