Viet Nam, China boost border security ties

Delegations from Viet Nam’s Border Guard Force and China’s Border Defence Force held talks in a friendly and trustful atmosphere on Friday in Guangzhou, China. Both sides praised recent cooperation, highlighting close coordination in border management, information sharing, and joint efforts to combat illegal border crossings and transnational crime.

They agreed to deepen exchanges, expand border post-to-border post partnerships, and continue joint operations against drug trafficking, smuggling, terrorism, and arms trafficking.
