Relief Supplies : Humanitatrian assistance transported to Sri Lanka

The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar sent the humanitarion assistance to the disaster hit community of Sri Lanka.

The relief supplies were transported by Tatmadaw cargo plane from Mingaladon Air Base on Saturday. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Yangon Commander Commander Major General Pyae Sone Lin, members from Yangon Region Government and officials observed the loading process of relief items including medicines and medical equipment, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

It is learned that the humanitatrion assistance, provided by Myanmar to the affected community in Sri Lanka includes 6.938 tons of medicines and medical equipment and 2.262 tons toothpastes and toothbrushes, totalling 9.200 tons.
