CITIC Myanmar has marked the 10th anniversary of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities in Myanmar, celebrating a decade of community-development programs alongside the Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone and Deep-Sea Port project.

The commemorative celebration took place in Yangon on Friday with the attendance of Union Minister at the President's Office (2) U Ko Ko Hlaing. Over the past ten years, CITIC has carried out a series of social-welfare initiatives, including its major Village Fund Programme, which supports 50 villages with capital for farming, livestock breeding, and small businesses.

During the anniversary event, CITIC reaffirmed its commitment to continue community engagement, environmental responsibility, and long-term development support for local residents in Rakhine State. CITIC is also expanding vocational-training plans aimed at helping young people gain skills for future job opportunities related to the SEZ and port project.
