Tour in Pyin Oo Lwin : Development works in Pyin Oo Lwin inspected

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the development of Pyin Oo Lwin on Friday.

The Acting President and party oversaw the road axis site from Mandalay-Lashio Road to Zee Pin Gyi Village and Central Fire Services Training School. He heard reports on construction of the new road and instructed for long term durability, benefiting the local residents.

He then visited the Pyin Oo Lwin Branch Office of Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection. Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than provided update reports on laboratory test, process for achieving international recognition certificate and requirement for microbiology lab.

In response to the report, the Acting President instructed for implementation of food laboratory since Pyin Oo Lwin area develops MSME industry. He then viewed the lab process of sample products. The Acting President and party later visited Thu Mingala (Nyan Taw) Market and heard report on work progress and instructed for systematic operation of the market to meet the urban development.

He then viewed the work implementation in the construction site. The Thu Mingala (Nyan Taw) Market is 165 ft long and 61 ft wide, with the installation of 145 degree curved LED display, which is the largest in Myanmar.
