20 Tons of Aid Arrive in East Aceh

A 20-ton shipment of relief supplies from Indonesia’s Ministry of Social Affairs arrived in East Aceh after severe flash floods. Transported by Navy vessel KRI-378, the aid will be distributed to 245 evacuation points, with priority for remote areas still cut off by the disaster.

Local officials noted that the offloading process required smaller boats to transfer the goods from the warship to shore due to challenging sea conditions. Local authorities expressed hope that the support would reduce the burden on affected communities as recovery efforts continue.
