Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge : Construction progress Dala Bridge inspected

Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant accompanied by permanent secretary, Directors General from related departments and officials inspected the construction progress of Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge (Dala Bridge) on Saturday.

At the briefing hall, the Union Minister and party heard reports on completion of current working tasks and future plans. The Union Minister instructed to meet the road safety standard issued by the Ministry of Transport and Communications for road sign installation on the bridge.

He also instructed to install aviation lights and lightning arrester on Pylons and speed bump. The Union Minister and party then inspected the completion of noise barrier installation, asphalt concrete pavement, barrier  construction on the main bridge, waterproofing and railing works, construction of toll plaza and administrative office and gave necessary instructions.

Bridge construction processes are being accelerated in accordance with set standard and time frame with the cooperation efforts of related organizations, engineers and experts. Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge will be completed soon to provide smooth transportation access to the public.
