





After wrapping up goodwill visit to Myanmar at the invitation of Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the high level delegation led by Belarusian President Mr. Aleksandr Gregoryevich Lukashenko departed for Belarus from Nay Pyi Taw Airport on November 28th.
The Belarusian delegation was seen off by SSPC member and Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, Union Minister for Transport and Communication U Mya Tun Oo, Myanmar Ambassador to Belarus, Belarusian Ambassador to Myanmar and concerned officials.
In addition, the cultural troupes and students also bid farewell to the delegation along the red carpet, waving the flags of the two countries. Likewise, three Su-30 SME Jet Fighter escorted the special aircraft, carrying the high level delegation till Myanmar aviation territory.
During the goodwill visit to Myanmar, the high level delegation led by Belarusian President met with the Acting President and SSPC Chairman, hold discussion on diplomatic relations as well as cooperation matters on economy, education and industry.
The Belarusian delegation also visited Maravijaya Buddha Image. Besides, Joint Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum was held for boosting investment opportunities in economy, health, industry and agriculture and livestock sectors. During the visit, a new road named after Minsk was opened with the aims for strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The visit could enhance diplomatic relations, strengthening friendship and cooperation of the two countries by exchanging culture and tradition. Moreover, the MOUs on agriculture and livestock, trading and manufacturing, education, health and industry were signed during the visit.
