Giant pandas loaded onto plane for return to China

Two giant pandas, Huan Huan and her partner Yuan Zi, were loaded into transport crates at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on Monday, preparing for their flight back to China. Huan Huan, who has lived in France for over a decade at Beauval Zoo, was diagnosed with kidney failure, prompting the return.

The pandas are expected to arrive safely in China, where they will receive specialized care. Their departure marks the end of more than ten years of public appearances and conservation work in France. The flight follows strict protocols to ensure the animals’ health and comfort.
