Xinjiang holds winter horse racing

More than 200 riders competed in a horse racing event held in Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Saturday.

As the starting gates flew open, riders burst forth like arrows, their mounts galloping at full speed and rolling up clouds of dust. Concluded on Sunday, this game featured multiple events, including speed performance test races, walking races, and hybrid horse speed races.
