





The merit-sharing ceremony for the newly constructed "Anathapindika Sangha Vihara four-storey new dormitory building," which was led and built within the premises of the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University by the main new dormitory building's lead donors Mother Construction Co., Ltd along with other donors, was held at the Bhavana Mahatha Meditation Hall of the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region on November 23.
At the ceremony, the donors received the Five Precepts from the Rector Sayadaw of the ITBMU, Dr. Bhaddanta Sekinda , offered various donated items, and presented the inscribed commemorative plaques for the various rooms and the building of the "Anathapindika Sangha Vihara four-storey new dormitory building" to the Rector Sayadaw.
Afterwards, on behalf of the donors, the Rector Sayadaw presented university landscape stone mosaic paintings to Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and the Chairman of Mother Construction Co., Ltd, U Aung Myat, the lead donor of the main new dormitory building.
Subsequently, the Yangon Region Chief Minister, on behalf of the donors, presented the inscribed commemorative plaque for the "Anathapindika Sangha Vihara four-storey new dormitory building" to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
Following this, the Chairman of Mother Construction Co., Ltd, U Aung Myat, handed over the engineering documents related to the "Anathapindika Sangha Vihara four-storey new dormitory building," valued at 4.2 billion kyats, measuring 200 feet in length, 60 feet in width, and 46 feet in height, to the Deputy Rector (Administration) of the ITBMU. The Deputy Rector (Administration) then presented certificate of honor in return.
Afterwards, the Anumodana Dhamma discourse from the Rector Sayadaw of ITBMU was listened to, and the ceremony was then concluded.
