Casting Advance Vote : Advance voting for university and college students

The Union Election Commission announced that university, degree college, and college students who will soon travel back to their campuses were given the opportunity to cast advance votes, so they would not lose their voting rights.

Students aged 18 and above whose names are on the voter list were allowed to vote in advance at their respective ward or village election sub-commission offices from 17 to 21 November 2025, between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, before leaving for their schools. During this period, a total of 28,339 eligible students across states and regions came to cast their advance votes.
