World leaders are gathering in Johannesburg for this weekend’s G20 Leaders Summit, the first to be held on African soil. Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese touched down earlier, welcomed by an honour guard and traditional dancers.

The Prime Minister insists this G20 summit as relevant and important as ever, stating that it represents 85% of the global economy and 75% of global trade. He added that in addition to participating in the forums of the G20, he will have important bilateral meetings with trading partners.
