Inspection Tour: Development works in Sagaing Region

On 21st November, Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw accompanied by concerned officials inspected the construction process of Chindwin Bridge (Htamanthi) near Htamanthi Village in Homalin Township. There, the Chief Minister and party inspected the completion of approach roads, resilience of hard shoulders, concrete paving condition, installation of handrail, coordinated with the responsible officials and provided necessary instructions.

At briefing hall, the Chief Minister heard reports matters related to concrete paving of approach roads, drainage installation, planting of shade trees along the roads and fulfilled necessities. Aiming to promote socio-economic status of the residents from Homalin District and Naga Self-Administered Zone, 801 m long and 9.4 m wide reinforced concrete Chindwin Bridge (Htamathi) is being constructed with the high flood level of 40ft on Leshi-Pansat-Sumparar Road.

On 20th November, the Chief Minister and party visited Nant Pa Nga hydropower plant project near Nar Tha Kyeik Village in Homalin Township. There, the Chief Minister heard reports on completion condition and further task implementation of the project.

Then, the Chief Minister instructed on timely completion of the project, meeting set standards as well as systematic budget allocation. Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected the high-pressure steel pipe line installation, construction process of the plant and coordinated requirements. The installed capacity of the Nant Pa Nga Hydropower plant project is 6 MW and it will produce 34.68 Million KW per hour annually.
