Workshop on APR and ABR: MoE UM delivered the opening speech

Ministry of Education is holding a workshop from November 20th to 21st, regarding to Ministry’s Annual Performance Review – APR and Annual Budget Review – ABR at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

On November 20th, Union Minister Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein attended the meeting together with the Deputy Ministers, Directors General and many other concerned officials. Under the National Education Strategic Plan NESP, the Union Minister urged all stakeholders under the Ministry to implement stronger Annual Planning and Budget Cycle – APBC by conducting annual working processes, holding workshops and drafting Departmental M and E Plans based on the outcomes of the workshops.

The Union Minister called for cooperation of all concerned departments under the ministry and Naypyitaw State Academy in implementing remaining working plans which were drafted during the previous meeting. And, related departmental officials are urged for successfully implementation of National Education Strategic Plan (2021-2030).

After clarification on the purpose of the workshops and outcomes by the Director General of the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation, group discussions were made by the attendees.
