In a post on social media, Trump claimed some states are trying to embed DEI ideology into AI systems, producing what he called “woke AI,” and argued this could undermine the nation’s growth engine. He called for a single federal regulatory standard to replace what he described as a “patchwork” of 50 different state regimes. Trump said such a system should protect children while also preventing censorship.
