Inspection of Preparations: Preparations for literary award ceremony inspected

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspected the ongoing preparations for the award ceremony of the 2024 National Literary Lifetime Achievement Award, National Literary Award, and Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Award at the Myanmar International Convention Center (1) in Nay Pyi Taw on November 18 and coordinated necessary arrangements.

First, the Union Minister toured the exhibition booths being prepared by Myanmar Radio and Television, the Department of Information and Public Relations, and the Printing and Publishing Department under the Ministry of Information.

Based on the explanations from the responsible officials, he provided necessary instructions and coordinated the arrangements. Subsequently, the Union Minister observed and encouraged the rehearsals for the award ceremony, provided necessary instructions to the responsible officials, coordinated the arrangements, and warmly met and greeted the staff who will be involved in various sectors of the event. It is learned that the award ceremony for the 2024 National Literary Lifetime Achievement Award, National Literary Award, and Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Award will be held on November 20, 2025.

During the ceremony, 5 National Literary Lifetime Achievement Awards, 16 National Literary Awards, and 30 Sarpay Beikman Manuscript Awards will be presented. The award ceremony will be broadcast live by Myanmar Radio and Television.
