Opening of Welfare Shop: MCRD UM and ACC Chairman opened the shop

The opening ceremony for the “Welfare Shop for staff “at the Anti-Corruption Commission Office was held in the Assembly Hall of the Anti-Corruption Commission Office on Tuesday. The ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman U Lwin Oo, Commission members, and officials and staff.

In his opening address at the ceremony, Commission Chairman U Lwin Oo stated that the Welfare Shop is opened with the intention of providing support from one angle, aiming to create a pleasant and happy workplace for staff so they can actively carry out their assigned duties. He mentioned that the Welfare Shop is opened in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development. The purpose is to enable all office staff to conveniently and easily purchase basic consumer goods at prices lower than the external market rates.

Subsequently, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe stated that the “Welfare Shop" is managed and opened with the aim of providing some relief for the staff from one aspect. He added that staff need to balance their income and expenditure wisely.

Then, the Union Minister U Hla Moe and Commission Chairman U Lwin Oo cut the ribbon to open the “Welfare Shop for staff " and viewed the display of the goods available.
