





The Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar conferred honorary titles and medals upon individuals who have rendered extraordinary service and assistance to the State, and those who have diligently performed State defense and security duties, during the 105th National Day in 2025.
A ceremony to honor the staff who received performance-based honorary medals from the Ministry of Industry was held at the Meeting Hall of Office No. (30) of the Ministry of Industry on Monday.
Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than and officials attended the ceremony. First, the Union Minister delivered remarks expressing pride and happiness for the recipients of the State-conferred performance-based honorary titles and medals. Subsequently, the Director General of the Union Minister's Office explained the details of the conferment of the honorary titles and medals.
The Union Minister then presented the certificates of honor and cash awards to each staff member who received an honorary medal, after which the ceremony was concluded. In the afternoon, a meeting on promoting ITC education and training, aimed at enabling matriculated students to receive training at industrial training schools, continued.
At the meeting, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than stated that efforts must be made to successfully implement projects related to "Promotion of ITC Education and Training." He also mentioned that plans must be made to expand and open industrial training schools in locations where most private industries are situated.
Furthermore, the Director General of the Department of Industrial Cooperation explained the status of the implementation of activities for promoting ITC education and training. Principals then separately explained the processes to be undertaken for enhancing the quality of industrial training schools. Then, the Union Minister coordinated and resolved necessary requirements and delivered concluding remarks, it’s reported.
