Netanyahu reiterates opposition to Palestinian state

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened his cabinet for its weekly meeting in Jerusalem on Sunday, where he reiterated his government's opposition to a Palestinian state "in any area west of the Jordan", as well as commenting on Hamas' awaited disarmament. His remarked come ahead of a UN Security Council vote on a resolution endorsing a US-backed Gaza peace plan.
