Relief Supplies: Provisions for returned villagers

Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, together with officials, visited Daw Po Si Village in the 6-Mile Model Village tract of Demoso Township on Saturday. At the Sasana Ranthi Monastery, he met with local residents who have recently returned to resettle in the village.

The Chief Minister said the state government will help returning residents restart their livelihoods quickly by providing seeds, fertilizers, irrigation support, and micro-loans needed for farming and livestock activities. He encouraged villagers to work together to rebuild their community.

The Chief Minister handed over cash assistance and roofing sheets as well as tarpaulins, disaster management funds, rice support funds, and 16 types of relief items.
