Military Ceremony for 20 Soldiers held in Ankara

A military ceremony was held in Ankara for the 20 Turkish soldiers who were martyred in the tragic plane crash that occurred while returning from Azerbaijan. The ceremony took place at Mürted Air Base Command before the martyrs were sent to their hometowns for burial.

The remains of the 20 soldiers, who lost their lives when a military cargo plane crashed near the Azerbaijan–Georgia border, were brought to Mürted Air Base on Tuesday morning. The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly, Minister of National Defense, the Chief of General Staff, force commanders, families of the martyrs, and a large number of military personnel.
