










The welcoming ceremony for those who will be serving at the Ministry of Industry after graduating from the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College (Yangon and Sagaing) was held at the Ministry on November 13.
Present at the meeting were Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, Directors-General, concerned officials and the graduated students. In his speech, the Union Minister stated that he warmly welcomes the graduates who will be serving at the Ministry of Industry and gave a brief history about the Ministry.
Currently, there is a Union Minister’s office, two departments and 4 industries where 101 graduates from the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College have been employed under the guidance of the head of state by appointing them according to their hometowns.
Additionally, plans will also be made for those who are qualified for the Engineering degree to give the opportunity to attend the nearest technological universities after working for one month without having any disrupt in their works.
As the graduates are now going to serve as the civil servants, they are also urged to follow the rules and regulations of a civil servant and to work with dedication and diligence in serving for the departments and industries they are assigned to and also to become the good responsible civil servants that can be relied on by the State in the future.
After that, the Union Minister presented the office orders of the graduates which were accepted by the concerned directors-general and managing directors. Then, the Union Minister cordially greeted the graduates.
