Angola celebrates 50 years of independence

Angola celebrated 50 years of independence in its capital Luanda. At least 10,000 people attended the celebrations, along with 12 presidents, including those from Portugal, Zimbabwe, Namibia and India. Angola's President Joao Lourenco said “they have spent 50 years enjoying the results or fruits of the struggle”, adding that “they have left 500 years of slavery and humiliation behind them.”
