Princess Anne lays wreath for two police

British Princess Anne has attended on Monday a memorial service for two police officers killed in Porepunkah town in Victoria’s north-east in August.

She was accompanied by her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence. The princess placed a wreath in honor of detective Leading Senior Constable and Senior Constable in Melbourne. She also met with the officer's families. The alleged gunman Dezi Freeman is still on the run. The Princess Royal is on a four-day tour of Australia which includes official events in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
