Rodrigo Paz sworn in as president of Bolivia

Rodrigo Paz was sworn in as the constitutional president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia for the 2025-2030 term, in the Plurinational Legislative Assembly building in downtown La Paz on Saturday.  He thanked visiting delegations from across Latin America, Europe and Asia and told them that "Bolivia returns to the world and the world returns to Bolivia."

Paz also emphasized his confidence in the new parliament and welcomed the unanimous vote in both chambers in recent days as a sign of "direction" toward restoring institutions without insults or aggressions.
