Lam Dong declares emergency

The Lâm Đồng Provincial People’s Committee, Viet Nam has declared a state of emergency following severe landslides on two major routes. After prolonged heavy rains since late October, multiple sections have suffered erosion, cracks and road subsidence, posing serious safety risks.

Traffic has been diverted, warning signs installed, and residents relocated from danger zones. Emergency response teams are on 24-hour duty to monitor and address the situation. Earlier, a farm reservoir burst in Tuy Phong Commune, resulting in one fatality. Local authorities are working to repair the damage and investigate the cause of the incident./.
