Prabowo leads destruction of drugs worth 1.76 billion USD

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto led the destruction of 2.1 tons of narcotics on Wednesday. The haul was only a portion of a total of 214.84 tons of drugs confiscated by authorities over one year of Prabowo’s presidency, and is rated at a value of 1.76 billion USD. Prabowo noted that most of the drugs consist of marijuana, methamphetamines, and gorilla tobacco.
