Bhutan’s King and Queen pay respects to late Thai Queen Mother

Their Majesties King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan formally paid their respects to the late Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand on Wednesday.

Their Majesties The King and Queen of Bhutan then signed a book of condolences, expressing their profound sorrow over the passing of the Thai Queen Mother. Later on Wednesday evening, the Bhutanese monarchs are scheduled to attend the Royal Chanting Ceremony for the Royal Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall.
