Nationwide fuel shortage persists over 10 days

Mongolia has been facing a persistent fuel shortage for over ten days. Gas stations remain inconsistently supplied, forcing citizens to queue for long hours and leading to frequent disputes and frustrations.

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources stated that the shortage may be artificially induced and urged citizens to purchase fuel as usual. In response, the government has begun monitoring and inspecting companies suspected of withholding distribution.
