Hundreds of herders with flocks of camels are gathering in the desert city of Pushkar for India's biggest camel-trading fair. The week-long livestock market runs from October 22 to November 5 where camels, horses, and cattle are traded alongside religious and spiritual activities.

The fair dates back to the 19th century where local tribes used to gather in Pushkar to trade camels and other livestock. It gained popularity over time and became an annual event that brings buyers, sellers, as well as tourists from all over the world.
