Man found dead from possible bear attack in Iwate Prefecture

Japanese police said they have found the body of a man who may be the victim of another bear attack in the northeastern prefecture of Iwate.

Police say they found the body on the premises of a house in a mountainous area of Ichinoseki City on Monday morning after receiving a call that the person who lives in the home was unaccounted for. They confirmed the body is that of a man in his 60s who is a resident of the house. Police officers and people believed to be members of a local hunters' association are patrolling the area.
