Guatemala asks for US help in capturing escaped gang members

Guatemala's newly-appointed Interior Minister has made it his first priority on Friday, to request "the cooperation of the United States' government in deploying a team of FBI experts" to assist in the search for 16 escaped gang members. 20 members of the Barrio 18 gang escaped from prison earlier in October - the group is designated as a "terrorist organization" by the United States.
