Viet Nam, Finland strengthen parliamentary ties

During his official visit to Finland, Party General Secretary Tô Lâm met with Finnish First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Paula Risikko. She welcomed the upgrade of Vietnam–Finland relations to a Strategic Partnership and highlighted Viet Nam’s key role in Southeast Asia. Both sides agreed to boost parliamentary cooperation, exchange delegations, and share legislative experience, while also supporting collaboration in sectors such as education, energy, and the economy.
