China, Malaysia hold joint naval drills

Chinese and Malaysian naval forces conducted multi-subject joint exercises from Sunday to Tuesday in waters near Port Klang, Malaysia, aiming to strengthen bilateral maritime cooperation and test operational coordination. The exercises are part of the “Peace and Friendship 2025” joint military drill between China and Malaysia that started on Oct 15, including live training in search and rescue, escort missions, and helicopter-based resupply operations.
