Brazilian President Lula visits Indonesia

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomed Brazilian President Lula da Silva at the presidential palace in Jakarta on Thursday morning. The visit came as part of Lula's Southeast Asia tour during which he will attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Malaysia. According to Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is the first visit by a Brazilian president to the Asian country since 2008.
