Corsica inaugurates the new Angelo urban cable car in Ajaccio

After 18 months of construction, the city of Ajaccio in Corsica, France has inaugurated Angelo, a new urban cable car linking the city entrance to the Mezzavia district in just twelve minutes. The project featured a three-section lift designed to connect the city's lower and upper towns, acting as an intermodal link with the existing bus and shuttle boat networks. It is designed to alleviate traffic congestion in Corsica’s most populous city.
