Chinese commerce minister meets with Apple CEO Tim Cook

Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with Apple CEO Tim Cook in Beijing on Thursday, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Commerce. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on topics including China-U.S. economic and trade relations and Apple's business development in China.

Apple will continue to deepen its engagement in China and actively participate in China's high-quality development, Cook said. He added that Apple stands ready to make positive contributions to promoting win-win cooperation between China and the United States.
