Indian Navy hosts seminar on cyber threats to maritime

Indian Navy organized a seminar on 'Impact of Cyber Attacks on Maritime Sector and Its Effects on National Security and International Relations' in New Delhi.

The event aimed to deepen understanding of cyber threats in the maritime domain and strengthen the national cybersecurity posture. Addressing the event India’s Minister of State for Commerce and Industry; Electronics and Information Technology, Jitin Prasada said the future challenges to maritime border security is crucial. 

The Minister lauded PM Modi’s ambitious goal of prosperity from the sea.  He further said cyber-attacks pose a serious global challenge. Therefore, deliberating on this important issue is essential to ensure maritime border security, trade through maritime borders, and our country’s national security.
