India, Sri Lanka discuss on strengthening trade ties

The Indo-Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a conference “Bridging Borders II” on Wednesday. Held at Sri Lanka’s Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, the conference focused on enabling the island nation’s market bond issuance in Indian currency.

Speaking at the event, Deputy High Commissioner of India Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, underlined the importance of re-strategizing bilateral trade and settlement mechanisms in the current global economic context.
