Trump awards conservative influencer Charlie Kirk posthumous presidential medal

US President Donald Trump awards a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who was killed in an attack last month as he addressed students on a campus in Utah. Trump hailed Kirk as a "martyr for truth and freedom".

Donald Trump, US President said "Especially in the wake of Charlie's assassination, our country must have absolutely no tolerance for this radical-left violence, extremism and terror. We're done with the angry mobs. And we're not going to let our cities be unsafe."

Erika Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk said that Trump have given Charlie Kirk the best birthday gift he could ever have as the ceremony was held on his birthday.
