Netanyahu says Trump 'greatest friend' Israel ever had in White House

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday described U.S. President Donald Trump as “the greatest friend” Israel has ever had in the White House, during an address to lawmakers at the Knesset. Netanyahu thanked Trump for his role in securing the release of all Israeli hostages held in Gaza and praised the country’s soldiers for what he called “amazing victories over Hamas.”

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister said  “Donald Trump is the greatest friend that the state of Israel has ever had in the White House.

The speech took place ahead of a Gaza peace summit scheduled later in the day in Egypt, with Trump in attendance.
