French PM's historic resignation before first cabinet meeting

Outgoing French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu declared that  "Being Prime Minister was a difficult task, undoubtedly even a little more challenging at the moment,", after submitting his resignation to the President of the Republic.

He underscored that “For the past three weeks, he have tried to build the conditions under which they could adopt a budget for France, for the State, but also for social security and address some important urgencies that cannot wait until 2027, the presidential election. He added He won’t list them all, but they know them: daily security, issues related to purchasing power and work, New Caledonia, the armed forces in a challenging international context, and many other subjects."
