India's Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked its centenary in Nagpur with a parade of thousands of stick-wielding volunteers in white shirts and brown trousers.

Volunteers of the right-wing paramilitary organization recited the RSS pledge and carried out customary drills, highlighting the group’s role in shaping the ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a lifelong member, and India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
