Samsung and SK join hands with OpenAI

OpenAI Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman is working on ‘the Stargate Project’, an American AI infrastructure venture that would cover all of the U.S. He met with President Lee Jae Myung as well as Samsung Electronics Chairman and SK Group Chairman.

The meeting was to secure a vast supply of high band with memory and other chips the Stargate Project would demand. Korean chip makers promised cooperation at the possibility of landing a major client early on.
