US tech company Cloud HQ announces $4.8 bn data center project in Mexico

US-based Tech Company Cloud HQ said Thursday it will spend $4.8 billion building six data centers in Mexico. Cloud HQ CEO Keith Harney, said the company will erect six facilities covering 52 hectares in the central state of Queretaro. Some 7,200 skilled construction jobs will be the result, and about 900 permanent positions for the operation of the data centers.
