First cable car in Paris region set to open in December

The first cable car in the Paris region will open to passengers on December 13, regional president announces during a site visit. The service marks the launch of the largest urban cable car in Europe, the first of its kind in the France region. Stretching 4.5 kilometres, the C1 line will link several suburbs of the French capital. Regional president said that they expect 11,000 passengers a day, with operations running from 5am until 11:30pm.
