Displacement camps in central Gaza are facing a growing crisis of clean drinking water. Every morning, residents line up in long queues hoping to fill even a small amount of filtered water. The crisis stems from the inability of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility to operate desalination generators due to ongoing Israeli electricity cuts and fuel entry bans. As a result, camp administrators are forced to rely on small local stations, which fail to meet demand.
